Returns and Exchange Policies
Returns Policy Overview
You may return new, unopened items sold and fulfilled by Rapid Media within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. Items should be returned in their original product packaging. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error.
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days). We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
Exchanges
If you received a faulty item and need to exchange it for the same item, please send the item to Rapid Media, Mail Order Return, 5920 Palmer Rd, Palmer Rapids, Ontario, K0J 2E0. If you would like to exchange an item for a different one, please return the original item (you will be refunded your original purchase price once we receive the item) and place another order for the item you wish to purchase. You do not have to wait for us to receive the original item before placing the new order.
Please note that it takes us 3 to 5 business days to process returns once they arrive at our Returns Center.
Subscription Exchange/Refund Policy
If you're not 100% satisfied with your Rapid, Adventure Kayak, Canoeroots and/or Kayak Angler magazine subscriptions for any reason, you may exchange your subscription for another of our magazine titles or cancel your subscription and we will refund you the full subscription price.
Items that are Not Returnable
Rapid Media does not accept returns or exhanges of the following items:
- Print back issues (unless a result of our error)
- Downloadable digital editions (unless a result of our error)
